Cross country ski center in NH marks $500,000 expansion

JACKSON, N.H. (AP) — A cross country ski center in New Hampshire is celebrating a $500,000 expansion.

The Jackson Ski Touring Center in Jackson has completed its most extension expansion in its 44-year history. The 96-mile, nonprofit facility has added four new trails totaling 3.75 miles and eight new trail bridges.

Officials are holding a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday. They hope to open around Dec. 10.
