The Boston Fleet will play at least four games at Agganis Arena in the 2025-26 season, the PWHL announced Wednesday.
With the reveal of the season schedule — the league’s third year on the ice — the Fleet are hoping to capitalize on the larger crowds they saw at Boston University’s on-campus arena last season. Both games played at Agganis were sellouts.
The PWHL will pause twice in the upcoming year, once for an international break and the other for the 2026 Winter Olympics, which open on Feb. 4 in Milan and Cortina in Italy.
A number of Fleet players are expected to play on their respective national teams, including goalie Aerin Frankel and defender Megan Keller on Team USA.
The PWHL expanded by two teams in the offseason, adding outfits in Seattle and Vancouver. Neither team has a name yet.
Inaugural Fleet captain Hilary Knight, now a member of PWHL Seattle, will return to face the Fleet on Jan. 7, 2026 at Agganis.
“There isn’t a single opponent we can afford to overlook this season,” said Danielle Marmer, Fleet general manager, in a release. “The competitive balance in this league is incredible, and now with the addition of Seattle and Vancouver the intensity and competitiveness are only going to rise. We know we’ll need to bring our best effort every night and find a way to play consistent hockey throughout the season.”
The Fleet lost coach Courtney Kessel to Princeton in the offseason. Kris Sparre is in his first year behind the bench.
In August, they signed first-round pick Haley Winn to a three-year deal. Winn has won three world championships medals skating alongside Frankel and Keller.
All home games are at Lowell’s Tsongas Center as noted. Times eastern.
