Lindsey Vonn needs a valentine
Bad news, ladies. If Lindsey Vonn can’t get a date on Valentine’s Day, there can’t be any hope for the rest of us.
For all the talk of the Olympic Village being a hot spot for, um, romance, the American ski racer turned to Twitter for help after initially forgetting about the holiday altogether.
So apparently it’s Valentine’s Day….I forgot all about it because I’m at the #Olympics and I’m single. Anyone else out there single and want to be my valentine? 🤷🏼♀️ #worthashot

Predictably, she got plenty of responses.

With ya there, Lindsey. Heading over for the V-Day dinner at the USOC dining hall. Bring your pup and I’ll pour the blue Powerade.

French biathlete Martin Fourcade suggested his friend and countryman, cross-country skier Richard Jouve. At 23, he might be a little on the young side for the 33-year-old Vonn, but, hey, we’re not judging. Their couple name could be VonnJouve (say it so it rhymes with “Bon Jovi’’).
Hey @lindseyvonn my friend @Richardjouve is the best valentine you could find!

IndyCar driver Conor Daly didn’t need a wingman, and just went for it himself.

Daly also tweeted recently about nearly breaking some new Ikea furniture out of excitement over snowboarder Shaun White. Since having someone who’s obligated to help assemble Ikea furniture is basically the entire point of dating, Vonn might actually want to follow up on this one.
In any case, Vonn can spend the holiday with her adorable dog Lucy, and probably her trainer, prepping for competition. But to all the eligible bachelors in PyeongChang: step it up.
