Usain Bolt isn’t the only one who can smile during the semis

Usain Bolt (right) of Jamaica and Andre De Grasse (left) of Canada compete during the men’s 200-meter semifinals.
The world’s fastest man isn’t the only one who can make Olympic semifinals look easy.
Usain Bolt, of Jamaica, who became the newest Olympic meme when he flashed the cameras a smile during his semifinal run in the 100-meter, advanced to the 200-meter final Wednesday night alongside a smiling Andre de Grasse.
De Grasse, of Canada, charged forward when Bolt took his foot off the gas. The two then finished looking at each other and laughing. Of course, Bolt still won.

Bolt ran 19.78 seconds, the fastest time of the year, to earn himself an automatic place in Thursday’s final. He’s one win away from his eighth Olympic gold medal. De Grasse, who earned the bronze behind Bolt in the 100-meter, finished in 19.80 seconds and advanced, as well.
