Aly Raisman is here to remind you that Olympians come in all sizes

Aly Raisman is a three-time Olympic medalist and the reigning gymnastics floor champion. But since her arrival in Rio last week, Raisman is coming up short compared to her fellow Olympians. Literally.

The Needham native shared a photo Tuesday comparing her 5-foot-2 stature to that of David Lee, a member of the U.S. men’s volleyball team who’s 6-foot-8.

And this isn’t the first time Raisman has poked fun at her size since arriving with Team USA’s women’s gymnastics team in Rio for the 2016 Olympic Games. The 22-year-old shared a photo of her encounter with the Cuban volleyball team on Saturday.
