Michael Phelps Announces, Via Twitter, That He’s Going to Rehab

Michael Phelps says he needs help.

Phelps announced his plans to enter a rehab program Sunday via his personal Twitter account. The Olympic swimming star was arrested Tuesday morning for driving under the influence, his second such charge. Police said the 29-year-old was driving 84 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone. His blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.

Phelps’ previous drunk driving charge was 10 years ago.
