Tom Brady trolls Colts fans after getting booed at Indy 500

“PS: it was great to get in one more successful drive in front of a bunch of colts fans.”

Tom Brady has been a thorn in the side of Colts fans for over two decades.

Despite boasting one of the most talented offensive units in NFL history for years with Payton Manning at the helm, Indianapolis was unable to mimic the same dynasty that the Patriots orchestrated from 2000 to 2019 — due in large part to Brady’s presence in the AFC.

As such, Colts fans are ready and willing to voice their displeasure whenever Brady makes an appearance in Indiana.

That tradition continued over the weekend at the Indianapolis 500 — with Brady receiving plenty of boos before taking a lap around the track as part of Fox Sports’ coverage of the storied race.

Brady’s icy reception in Indy isn’t much of a surprise at this point, with the former Patriots QB taking to Instagram after the event to share his thoughts on the race.

“What an incredible experience at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend,” Brady captioned his photo. “Thanks to the @foxsports family for putting on an incredible show, and to my friend, the best driver in the world and 7x champion @jimmiejohnson for letting me tag along as we led out the pack. I’ll be back, and next time I’m driving!!!

Brady is no stranger to dominating against Indianapolis — with the future Hall-of-Famer sporting a 12-3 record against the Colts during regular-season play, along with a 4-1 showing during the postseason.

Two of those victories came in the AFC Championship Game, as New England punched their ticket to the Super Bowl with victories over the Colts in both 2003 and 2014.

Brady threw 33 touchdowns in his 15 games against the Colts — the most against any NFL team that wasn’t in the AFC East.

Even though Colts fans have long memories when it comes to Brady’s track record of tormenting Indianapolis over the years, both Brady and Manning have long maintained a friendship — with Manning serving as a surprise guest during Brady’s Patriots Hall-of-Fame induction ceremony last June.
