Welcome to Boston.com’s Sports Q, our daily conversation, initiated by you and moderated by Chad Finn, about a compelling topic in Boston sports. Here’s how it works: You submit questions to Chad through TwitterFacebook, and email. He’ll pick one each weekday to answer, then we’ll take the discussion to the comments. Chad will stop by several times per day to navigate. But you drive the conversation.

Have you ever had an undefeated fantasy football season?

Yes, someone is actually interested in your fantasy team. There’s a first for everything.

Ridiculous question, I know, but the way too premature talk of the real-world Patriots going unbeaten made wonder if anyone has ever done it in fantasy, and what were the circumstances. Did you have Tom Brady and Randy Moss in 2007? Patrick Mahomes and Saquon Barkley last year?

I’ve been in a few leagues (three this year), including one with my college friends for about 20 years. I’ve won a handful of times, but never come close to a perfect season. Given that I drafted Todd Gurley, Cam Newton and Le’Veon Bell with my first three picks in one league this year – and I’m still carrying Gronk —-  let’s just say it’s not happening in 2019, either.

Has it ever for you? Have you ever had an undefeated fantasy football season? Heck, did you ever come close? I’ll hear you in the comments.
