Marvel Cinematic Universe fans take their movies seriously. They take Avengers: Endgame most seriously of all. Many of them have found a new enemy in Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy.

Endgame is the fifth Avengers movie and the 22nd movie overall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, marking the end of a story arc that initially started with 2008’s Iron Man. Ahead of the movie’s release, directors Joe and Anthony Russo posted an open letter on Twitter, reminding fans not to spoil it for others.

Unfortunately for McCoy’s Twitter followers, he did not appear to get the memo.

McCoy tweeted three times Friday afternoon after seeing the movie just hours after it opened in theaters, each time giving away a pivotal plot point from the film. Even worse, McCoy spelled a character’s name wrong in two of the three tweets, ensuring fans who blocked specific words on Twitter in an attempt to avoid spoilers might see the tweets anyway.

If McCoy noticed he had spoiled portions of the movie’s events for Avengers fans, he has not addressed it yet. By Sunday night, he was on to tweeting during Game of Thrones.
