Wide receiver Antonio Brown will be taken to the hospital during the Patriots-Steelers game for further evaluation of his leg injury, according to Pittsburgh’s PR staff. He will not return to the field for Sunday’s contest.

Brown exited the game early in the second quarter after getting caught between two Patriots defensive backs and falling awkwardly in the end zone. He was escorted to the locker room for x-rays and initially listed as questionable to return.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Brown is suffering from a “calf bruise.”
