Taylor Twellman was not happy about the NFL’s Tom Savage returning to play after injury
"Can't make it up."
After sustaining a particularly brutal hit against the 49ers on Sunday, quarterback Tom Savage of the Houston Texans returned to the game right afterward. Former New England Revolution forward Taylor Twellman, whose career was cut short by head injuries, expressed his frustration with the perceived lack of timely medical oversight.
“Can’t make it up,” Twellman noted on Twitter.
There is nothing to see here….Savage has what appears to be a seizure or reaction to a hit returns to game 5 minutes later. Can’t make it up #NFL https://t.co/ONwvvVZM2M

Savage was allowed to go back into the game for a series, but was later removed. Eventually, he was ruled out with a concussion.
