The Patriots routed the Broncos on Sunday night by a 41-16 final in Denver. Additionally, the Celtics extended an NBA-long winning streak to 12 with a hard fought 95-94 win over the Raptors.

Here’s a look at a few stories from the sports world:

Broncos’ Wolfe says “nobody respects us” after Denver dominated by New England: A demoralized Derek Wolfe admitted after the Patriots loss that his team “stinks” right now. And the Denver defensive lineman described the sad state of affairs by comparing it to the team’s not-that-long-ago Super Bowl team.

“It’s just sad. It’s real sad,” Wolfe said. “It’s sad that we went from a championship-caliber team to a team that stinks and nobody respects us.” (Denver Post)

Bill Belichick downplayed the milestone of tying Tom Landry for third-most wins by a head coach:

Chasing Don Shula’s all-time wins record could keep Belichick in New England: After getting his 270th career win as a head coach on Sunday, it’s worth noting that Bill Belichick isn’t out of range of Don Shula’s NFL record of 347.

And would Belichick keep going just to beat Shula? As the Boston Globe’s Dan Shaughnessy writes, there’s a chance the Patriots’ coach sticks it out just so he can outdo the man who once labeled him “Bel-i-cheat.” (Boston Globe)

Mookie Betts still enjoying his time bowling: As has become a familiar feature of Mookie Betts’ offseason in the years he’s been with the Red Sox, the Boston outfielder once again participated in the World Series of Bowling.

Tom Brady Sr. thinks his son has “at least” another two years as Patriots starter: In an interview with ESPN, Tom Brady Sr. said he sees his son playing as long as Bill Belichick thinks it’s “best for the team.”

“I tend to think Tommy’s probably got another two years now as a starter, at least, even if the Patriots draft another quarterback,” said Brady Sr. (ESPN)

Broncos lowlight: In case you missed it, Brock Osweiler hit an unlucky man on the Broncos sideline during the loss to the Patriots:
