Al Michaels apologized after making a Harvey Weinstein joke on Sunday Night Football
"It was not meant in that manner. So my apologies."
In the middle of a Sunday Night Football matchup between the Giants and Broncos, longtime NBC sportscaster Al Michaels made a reference to Harvey Weinstein. Intended as a joke, the comment fell flat:

Weinstein, who the New York Times revealed to have paid off sexual harassment claims for years and has been accused by at least three women of sexual assault, was compared to the Giants.
“I mean let’s face it, the Giants are coming off a worse week than Harvey Weinstein,” said Michaels.
Later in the game, Michaels apologized for the joke:

Michaels has been calling Monday Night Football games since his debut in 1986. He’s one of the most widely recognizable voices and personalities among sportscasters, calling everything from the “Miracle on Ice” to Malcolm Butler’s famous Super Bowl XLIX interception.
