NFLPA’s advice at the Rookie Premiere? Be like Gronk

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — The NFL Players Association convened 40 of the league’s most recognizable rookies to deliver an important message before sending them out into the world as professional athletes:

Be like Gronk.

No, they don’t have to be beer-swilling, hip-shaking frat boys like Rob Gronkowski in order to succeed in the NFL.

But in terms of developing a brand and selling yourself to fans and advertisers, few are better at it than the Patriots tight end.
