Watch this UConn defensive back defy gravity at the NFL Combine
Connecticut safety Obi Melifonwu is an athletic player who’s drawing interest from the Seahawks among others ahead of this spring’s NFL Draft.
The interest should be considerably higher after Melifonwu’s performance at the NFL Combine Monday.
He almost jumped TOO far!
This is crazy: Obi Melifonwu (DB – @UConnFootball) broad jumps 11’9″!!! #NFLCombine https://t.co/uWo06moyb7

In 2015, another UConn product, Byron Jones, set the record in the event before going on to be drafted in the first round by the Dallas Cowboys. (Jamie Collins jumped 11 feet, 7 inches in 2013).
