Tom Brady’s WWE comments have landed him at the top of Randy Orton’s RKO list

Randy Orton says he wouldn’t mind hitting Tom Brady with his signature RKO wrestling move after comments the former Patriots quarterback made during an episode of Logan Paul’s podcast.

Brady and Paul were exchanging playful jabs about the upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic they are scheduled to compete in. Brady said he was worried for Paul having to compete against so many top tier football players. Paul asked if Brady had seen how much athleticism it takes to somersault into a wrestling ring.

“It’s cute,” Brady said. “I love WWE. It’s very cute, but honestly this is like real football, real competition.”

During an episode of ESPN’s “Get Up!” on Monday morning, Orton said that Brady tops the list of celebrities he’d live to use his signature move on one day.

“Tom Brady had a few things to say about pro wrestling, I think he called it ‘cute’,” Orton said. “I’ve never met him, but I’d love to meet Tom and hit him with an RKO. I’d say he’d be at the top of the list.”

Orton is set to compete in his 10th elimination chamber match on Saturday, the most in WWE history. The winner will move on to face WWE champion Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania 42.

“Ten elimination chambers is a lot of elimination chambers ,” Orton said. “My body has been beaten up and all over that ring. That chamber, man it is unforgiving, but I take a lot of experience with myself into that chamber and I’m going to use it this Saturday.

“I’m going to win the thing and go to Wrestlemania. I’ve only got so many years that I’m going to be able to do this and I’m enjoying every second of it.”

Brady quote-tweeted the clip of him talking trash to Paul with some comments. He said he was having a great morning but eventually got “mad.” The level of competition during the flag football event will be high, he said.

Brady, along with a number of current and former NFL stars including Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, CeeDee Lamb, Myles Garrett, and Rob Gronkowski, are expected to play in the game.

“I hope people understand the level of competition this game is going to be,” Brady said. “If you’re on my team you’re going to be locked in, all out, and we’re going to not just win… but dominate. I do think @loganpaul has the right attitude and the effort will be there. How far that gets him will remain to be seen.”
