Patriots will face the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX
New England defeated Denver to win the AFC Championship, and will play Seattle in Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8.
The Patriots are going back to the Super Bowl.
New England managed to hold on by a narrow 10-7 margin against the Broncos in a snow-swept AFC Championship game in Denver on Sunday. Now, Drake Maye, Mike Vrabel, and the Patriots will play in Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8 (6:30 pm) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
New England’s opponent was determined in the NFC Championship game (which kicked off after the AFC Championship on Sunday), contested between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Update: The Patriots will face the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX after Seattle won the NFC Championship game over the Rams, 31-27.

In the meantime, New England can savor its return to the pinnacle of the AFC. It’s a major accomplishment for a Patriots team that sustained back-to-back 4-13 seasons prior to 2025. Then, with Mike Vrabel installed as the team’s head coach, New England found its footing. Maye, in his second season after being drafted third overall in 2024, emerged as an MVP candidate.
The next test for the 23-year-old will be on football’s biggest stage.
New England is heading to the Super Bowl for a 12th time in franchise history, an extension of its own NFL record. It’s the first Patriots trip to the big game since Tom Brady last led the team there in 2019.
