Tom Brady sneaks the Patriots into his top 10 teams in the NFL

Brady releases his NFL power rankings each week, and he included New England as his 10th ranked team for Week 5.

Tom Brady is settling into the next stage of his career as an NFL analyst for FOX Sports, a job which includes posting his top 10 teams in the league each week.

This week’s rankings included his former New England Patriots sliding into the No. 10 spot.

This addition to the list comes after the Patriots have won two in a row, with a 42-13 blowout against the Carolina Panthers last week and a 23-20 upset over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.

Brady saved most of his analysis for teams in the top five, but handing the Bills (ranked fourth) their first loss of the season helped raise the Patriots up.

Along with this, Drake Maye is among the league leaders in several statistics this year. He ranks second in completion percentage (73.9%), fifth in passing yards (1,261), and sixth in passer rating (107.8).

New England will look to keep this form up to stay in Brady’s top 10, as consistency has been an issue for them. They are still the only team the Raiders have beaten this season, falling 20-13 to them in Week 1.

They have a few favorable matchups coming up though, playing the Saints, Titans, and Browns in their next three games.
