Photos: Patriots’ Stefon Diggs walked the runway at the Met Gala

On Monday night, Stefon Diggs walked the Met Gala’s red carpet wearing his best to celebrate the event’s theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Because the theme was to explore Black style and the history of dandyism, or a style with excessive attention to personal detail, the wide receiver wore a Bianca Saunders black suit and red shoes. He was also draped in a furlike cape.

“I kinda stole this from James Brown, so I feel like I gotta give him all the credit, and a little bit of Teddy Pendergrass,” Diggs told BET Networks.

This was Diggs’ third Met Gala and the first Gala for a Patriots player since Tom Brady’s last appearance in 2019 with his now ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. Diggs signed a contract with the Patriots this offseason as a free agent following Diggs’ time with the Houston Texans.
