Bill Belichick’s girlfriend trolls Falcons again in celebration of Patriots’ Super Bowl LI win

Friday marked an unofficial holiday for Patriots fans, with Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, celebrating the occasion.
Belichick and Hudson took a dig at the Falcons for blowing a 28-3 lead in Super Bowl LI in an Instagram story on Friday, March 28 (or 3/28 if you’re using the month/date/year format).
“Happy 3-28 Day to those that celebrate,” Hurdon wrote in a picture of her with Belichick as she wore a Falcons Super Bowl LI championship t-shirt. Belichick smiled along in the picture, wearing a North Carolina football t-shirt instead of Patriots paraphernalia.
In a second post to her Instagram story, Hudson shared her keychain that commemorated the Patriots’ memorable Super Bowl LI win. The keychain displayed the scoreboard from when the Patriots faced their largest deficit in Super Bowl LI with text that reads, “Live each day like it’s 3-28.”
“Shoutout [I Love Boston Sports] for giving me arguably the greatest keychain of all time,” Hudson captioned the post to her Instagram story.
Hudson’s posts to her Instagram story weren’t the first time she’s taken a dig at the Falcons. When she was in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX with Belichick in February, she was seen wearing that same t-shirt while the couple made their way around the city.
Belichick coaching New England to the comeback victory over Atlanta is the most obvious reason for the dig at the Falcons, but there might be another reason why his girlfriend took a shot at the team on Friday. The Falcons were the only other NFL team to interview Belichick for their head coach vacancy since the Patriots parted ways with him in 2024. While it initially appeared that Belichick was one of the favorites for the gig, he lost out to Raheem Morris as Falcons executives believed he was “an older, stoic coach who’d blow up the building,” ESPN reported in April 2024.
The Falcons went 8-9 with Morris in 2024, failing to make the playoffs. Belichick, meanwhile, kept himself busy during the 2024 season before taking the UNC job, working as an analyst on “Inside the NFL,” the “Manningcast,” and other programs.
Belichick’s relationship with Hudson also became public during the season. The former Patriots coach, who turns 73 in April, took several images with his 24-year-old girlfriend that went viral, including a trip to a corn maze and dressing up together for Halloween.
More recently, the couple attended the NFL Honors award show in February, where Snoop Dogg made a joke at their expense before appearing in a Super Bowl ad for Dunkin’. A recent beach trip Belichick and Hudson made also took the internet by storm as he lifted her up with his legs.
As Belichick tuns the page from coaching the NFL and settles into his coaching gig, Hudson might also be a part of UNC’s football program in some way.Emails obtained by The Assembly‘s Matt Hartman earlier in March show that Belichick requested Hudson be copied on future emails in a message to a UNC administrator, causing some social media speculation on how involved she might be with UNC’s football team.
While the couple’s relationship was first reported in June 2024, they’ve been together for much longer than that. They reportedly met on a flight to Florida in January 2021 before beginning their relationship sometime in 2022.
