Bill Belichick’s girlfriend throws shade at Falcons while in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX
Belichick and his girlfriend also sparked engagement rumors Saturday, two days after the couple wore their championship rings to the NFL Honors.
Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, decided to troll the Atlanta Falcons when the couple was out in New Orleans on Saturday.
In photos obtained by TMZ, Hudson wore a Falcons Super Bowl LI champions T-shirt as she and Belichick were heading to a brunch.
Of course, the Patriots had one of their most memorable wins in franchise history over the Falcons in Super Bowl LI. They came back from a 28-3 deficit in the third quarter before winning in overtime to capture their fifth Super Bowl title.
Beyond poking fun at the Falcons for losing that game, there are a couple of other possible reasons why Hudson opted to wear that shirt on Saturday. The Falcons passed on hiring Belichick last offseason as they’ve been the only NFL team to interview the former Patriots head coach since New England let him go last offseason. The Falcons went 8-9 in 2024 and missed the playoffs.
Hudson also could have just worn the shirt because of the city she was in Saturday. The Falcons are the Saints’ top rival as the two teams located in nearby cities have been in the same division for practically their entire existence.
The couple actually bumped into NFL commissioner Roger Goodell before arriving to meet up with Jim Gray and his wife, according to TMZ. Belichick and Gray co-host the “Let’s Go!” podcast together.
As for Belichick’s wardrobe, he didn’t go with anything flashy Saturday. He just wore a North Carolina football T-shirt, representing the team he coaches now.
While Belichick didn’t make a statement with his wardrobe choice, though, TMZ noted that Hudson was wearing a diamond jewelry on her ring finger. No one on Hudson’s camp has confirmed or denied that the couple has gotten engaged, according to TMZ.
Belichick, 72, and Hudson, 24, have become a social media sensation since their relationship first became public in June 2024. Hudson has posted several pictures of her and the former Patriots head coach together, such as going through a corn maze and wearing matching costumes for Halloween.
The couple also attended Thursday’s NFL Honors, an award show that celebrates the league on annual basis as Belichick wore his eight Super Bowl rings. Snoop Dogg, who hosted this year’s show, roasted the couple in his monologue.
“I’ve been a football fan for a long, long time,” Snoop Dogg began. “I remember when the Cowboys was good. I remember back when the Chiefs was bad. And I remember, what was it, Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet.”
Belichick and Hudson seemed to get a kick out of the joke, with each sharing a laugh at their own expense.
While the couple’s relationship was first reported in June 2024, they’ve been together for much longer than that. They reportedly met on a flight to Florida in January 2021 before beginning their relationship sometime in 2022.
