Rob Gronkowski had well wishes for Bill Belichick as the ex-Patriots coach takes on a new position leading the University of North Carolina”s football program.

The four-time Super Bowl champion emceed the LA Bowl on Wednesday, where he discussed his former coach’s career change in a sideline interview with ESPN.

“Coach Belichick, he’s gonna do an awesome job coaching those young bucks at UNC. I love the guy. I’m wishing him nothing but the best,” the former tight end said, also joking that he’s working as a recruiter for Belichick.

This will be Belichick’s first time coaching college football, and he will have to adjust to recruiting athletes and the transfer portal. The coach seems to be off to a good start though, after landing a four-star recruit, quarterback Bryce Baker, and his first transfer commitment, offensive lineman Christo Kelly from Holy Cross. Belichick will also enjoy more control over North Carolina’s program than he would have had he remained in the NFL.
