In her first post since news of their apparent relationship broke, Jordan Hudson welcomed Bill Belichick to Instagram on Thursday with a photo of them petting a goat at the U.S. Naval Academy’s football stadium.
“This is my formal petition for @BillBelichick to change his handle to @ BillyGoat !! 🐐,” she wrote, referring to Navy’s mascot, “Bill the Goat.” “Welcome to the ‘Gram, Billy!!!!”
The legendary Patriots coach, who joined the social media platform this week, replied to Hudson’s post.
“I will leave the ‘Billy-Goat-ing’ to @bill.t.goat at the @usnavalacademy,” he commented. “Thanks for the warm reception, J!”
In June, TMZ first reported on the relationship between Hudson, a former competitive cheerleader who was 23 at the time, and the 72-year-old Belichick. According to the outlet, they met on a Boston-to-Florida flight in 2021 and “bonded over a philosophy project the student-athlete had been working on,” before linking up in more recent years.
Hudson, a Provincetown native, was a Bridgewater State cheerleader and has competed in pageants.
The pair has been spotted together this summer, including on a Nantucket bike ride in July, per The New York Post.
