Julian Edelman asked Gronkowski for his thoughts on Belichick’s rumored relationship during a recent episode of “Games With Names.”
“He’s dating a 24-year-old, a good looking 24-year-old,” Gronkowski said.
Gronkowski and Edelman said there was a “trifecta” of things Belichick would tell Patriots players not to get caught up with during their playing days.
They were: Alcohol, ***-holes, and girls.
Gronkowski said while Belichick wasn’t a drinker, he did partake in being the second entry from the trifecta while he was coaching the Patriots.
“But, not anymore, I love him now, he’s my favorite,” Gronkowski said.
“Now he’s all caught up with the girls,” Gronkowski added. “We love you coach.”
Gronkowski and Edelman joked that since Belichick is no longer coaching in the NFL, he may be allowed to bend some of his own rules.
“That’s a pass. He’s allowed to be in the trifecta,” Gronkowski said with a laugh. “Watch out, he’s going to be blacked out hammered every night now.”
