Patriots defensive back Myles Bryant is heading to Houston.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, an NBC TV affiliate in Houston, Bryant is signing with the Texans.

The 5-foot-9, 192-pound cornerback spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Patriots after signing as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He posted a career-high 77 tackles this year with a pair of forced fumbles and an interception over 17 games.

The versatile defensive back played in all 17 games for the Patriots last year and in 2022. He played in 75 percent of the team’s defensive snaps, which was fourth on the team.

Bryant primarily lined up on the inside, playing in the slot but also has experience playing on the outside and at safety. He also returned 25 punts for 161 yards during his time with the Patriots.
