The Chiefs scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to mount a comeback against the 49ers and win Super Bowl LIV on Sunday night, 31-20. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the game’s MVP.

For Patriots fans, a major moment came during the commercials, when Tom Brady’s Hulu advertisement aired. Brady jokingly feigned at a retirement announcement as part of his sales pitch before revealing that he’s “not going anywhere.”

Tom Brady’s daughter concurred with her father on his Hulu commercial: In a pregame interview on Westwood One radio, Brady discussed several important topics, including his upcoming contract decision.

Brady was asked if he’s spoken with the Patriots’ leadership about possibly staying in New England (he’s eligible to become a free agent in March).

“Yeah, I have,” Brady said. “I’m not going to elaborate much more than that. But yes, I have. I think that’s a pretty normal thing for me. Again, these are people that have been a part of my life for a very long time.”

On the topic of his Hulu Super Bowl commercial, Brady noted that his daughter, Vivian, had a “cute” reaction.

“It was pretty fun. I’m glad everyone enjoyed it. My daughter loved it,” Brady explained. “She says to me, ‘Daddy, we’re not going anywhere.’ I thought it was so cute. She gave me a big hug.”

Whether the “not going anywhere” line from Brady in the commercial pertains to staying with the Patriots or merely staying in the NFL remains to be seen. The 42-year-old will undoubtedly receive interest from other teams in the league if he doesn’t re-sign in New England.
