Dolphins owner doesn’t know why Tom Brady would go to Miami
"I don’t know why he would want to come to Miami as we are a rebuilding team."
It looks like we can cross off one potential destination for Tom Brady this off-season.
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said on Friday that he doesn’t think Brady would want to go to Miami next season.
“I hear he’s going to be a free agent but we’re not allowed to talk to him until March,” Ross said at the Bloomberg Summit on Friday. “I don’t know why he would want to come to Miami as we are a rebuilding team.”

Brady joining the Dolphins has been speculated by some people in the media over the last few days, citing the connection with former Patriots assistant Brian Flores, who is now the Dolphins’ head coach, as one of the reasons why Brady would want to go to Miami.
However, Ross’ comments coupled with the news of Ryan Fitzpatrick saying he wants to stay with the Dolphins should cool down the Brady-to-Miami rumors, for now at least.
As for Brady, he is still scheduled to become a free agent on March 18.
