What Bill Belichick tells Odell Beckham Jr. before every game
"I hope you enjoy today because there's not going to be much for you."
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is a man of few words, but according to Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on Wednesday, Belichick talks a little bit of trash talk to him before they face off.
“I have much respect for [him] and probably talk to him before and after the game,” he said. “He tells me the same thing every time, ‘I hope you enjoy today because there’s not going to be much for you.'”

Belichick has faced off against Beckham Jr. three times in his five-year NFL career. During his second season with the Giants, Beckham had 104 yards and a touchdown against them in a regular season game in November. He said he’s aware just how “tough” the Patriots will be on Sunday.
“That’s what he’s told me and that’s what he does every single time,” he said. “It’s just tough. He’s gonna coach it up and they’re going to be really prepared.”
Beckham also revealed that he was “willing” to play for the Patriots a few years ago, praising quarterback Tom Brady:
“Two, three years ago, there was speculation that was going on. I was willing and ready to go over there at any point in time. That was always a dream of mine to play for Tom Brady.”
“Tom Brady’s the GOAT,” he added. “He’s not human to be playing the way he’s still playing. Mentally prepared every single game. Decisive decisions. Knows how to manage a game. Plays offense and defense with the way that he plays…He’s just the greatest. I definitely want some of the water that he’s drinking.”
Come Sunday, Beckham said he has a pair of goat-haired cleats he wants to personally gift to Brady either before or after the game.
#Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. said he has a pair of goat hair cleats to give #Patriots quarterback Tom Brady before or after Sunday’s game. OBJ also has a pair for himself. “But I’m gonna give them to him because he’s one of the GOATs, and he’s more the GOAT than I am.”
