Julian Edelman and Rex Burkhead are reportedly expected to play against the Bills
Edelman is dealing with an injured chest and Burkhead an injured foot.
Julian Edelman and Rex Burkhead will reportedly both be on the field when the Patriots face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The wide receiver Edelman, who injured his chest in a win over the New York Jets, may end up playing in a limited role. NFL Insider Ian Rapoport said his snaps will “hinge on how he feels,” and he may take “less than his full atonement.”
#Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) will play vs. the #Bills, source said, but his snaps will hinge on how he feels. He may take less than his full allotment. Meanwhile, RB Rex Burkhead (foot) is a game-time decision.

That news came early this morning, and Rapoport also said in the same tweet that the running back Burkhead is a game-time decision. Later in the morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Burkhead is expected to play despite practicing on a limited basis this week due to a foot injury.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss noted that the Patriots ran 10 first-half plays with two running backs on the field at the same time against the Jets.
Per @AdamSchefter, Patriots RB Rex Burkhead, listed as questionable for today due to a foot injury, is expected to play.
