Marcus Cannon’s shoulder injury is reportedly not considered season-ending
Cannon's injury is not expected to keep him out long-term.
The Patriots received good news Tuesday regarding Marcus Cannon’s shoulder injury suffered on Sunday.
ESPN’s Mike Reiss reported through a source that Cannon’s shoulder injury is not considered to be season-ending or a long-term injury after undergoing tests on Monday.

Cannon suffered his injury in the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ 33-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night after falling hard onto his left shoulder.
It remains unclear what Cannon’s status will be for the Patriots’ upcoming game in Miami against the Dolphins. But Cannon’s left arm was reportedly in a sling at practice on Monday.

If Cannon is unable to go, some possible replacements include moving left guard Joe Thuney to tackle and slotting in James Eluemunor at guard — which is what the Patriots did after Cannon was pulled from the game — or replacing him with backup tackle Korey Cunningham.
