Watch Josh Gordon break a tackle and score the Patriots’ first touchdown of the 2019 season
Gordon marked his return to the NFL regular season with a 20-yard touchdown.
The Patriots are back, and so is Josh Gordon. The 28-year-old wide receiver was reinstated by the NFL in August, and he scored the team’s first touchdown of the 2019 season in the first quarter against the Steelers.
Gordon caught a Tom Brady pass on a crossing route before turning upfield, breaking a tackle, and sprinting to the end zone for a 20-yard touchdown:
Flash back.

The Patriots moved the ball downfield on the team’s second drive thanks to a highlight-worthy passing play from Julian Edelman. The pass-back play from Edelman to running back James White went for 32 yards and set up Gordon’s eventual score.
