Robert Kraft among several celebrities to attend 76ers-Lakers game
Kraft is good friends with 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft was schmoozing with an old Boston sports foe Sunday afternoon at the Wells Fargo Center.
Seated courtside alongside each other, Kraft and Los Angeles Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson watched the new-fangled Philadelphia 76ers cruise to a 143-120 win over the Lakers. Sixers co-owner Michael Rubin, a good friend of Kraft who also attended the Patriots’ postgame party following their Super Bowl win in Atlanta, joined the duo as well.
At one point during the game, Kraft, Johnson, and Rubin posed for a photo with former 76ers point guard Allen Iverson. Other athletes and celebrities in attendance included Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout, film director M. Night Shyamalan, rapper Lil Uzi Vert, and model Kendall Jenner.
Kraft frequently attends Celtics games at TD Garden but was noticeably not in attendance for the in-game celebration honoring the Patriots last week.
