Here’s why Duron Harmon was wearing a ‘Padres’ football jersey during the Patriots parade
The 28-year-old safety was sporting quite a throwback.
Patriots fans along the route might have been confused by the front of the jersey Duron Harmon was wearing during the team’s Super Bowl victory parade Tuesday.
Padres?
The only Padres team in major American professional sports plays in the MLB. But the Patriots safety’s uniform was a football jersey, and one with which fans on the East Coat might not be familiar.
That’s because Harmon was rocking a rare, throwback Tom Brady jersey from the 41-year-old quarterback’s playing days at Serra High School in San Mateo, California. The tribute became more clear when the back of uniform was visible.

For those curious what Brady actually looked like in his high school jersey, the Patriots quarterback posted a photo of himself playing for Serra High School on Instagram about two years ago.
