The post-Super Bowl Patriots locker room exceeds all of your celebration goals
The boom box has declined in popularity over the years, but one Patriots player made sure to bring one to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII.
The Patriots earned another chance to celebrate again on Sunday, winning their 6th Super Bowl by defeating the Los Angeles Rams 13-3. The game was more of a defensive grind on both sides than most expected — the score through the first half was only 3-0.
That didn’t stop the Patriots from celebrating any differently, though. Sports Illustrated’s Jenny Vrentas captured the scene in the Patriots locker room as the party started, with a number of players dancing to Sheck Wes’ ‘Mo Bamba’ via a boombox with a Patriots decal on it.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft brought cigars into the team’s locker room for a celebrational smoke postgame.

The Patriots will bring the celebration back to Boston Monday and hold a Super Bowl parade through the streets of Boston on Tuesday morning.
