Chances are you vividly remember the first Super Bowl you watched intently.

Whether it’s Bart Starr leading the Green Bay Packers past the Kansas City Chiefs in 1967 or Malcolm Butler intercepting Russell Wilson in 2015, there’s likely one game that still sticks out as the moment you fell in love with football.

It’s no different for the Patriots, who shared some of their first Super Bowl memories in a Twitter video on Friday.

Safety Duron Harmon, 28, recalled watching the Denver Broncos-Atlanta Falcons matchup in 1999, a week after his eighth birthday.

“I just remember telling my mom, ‘Eventually, one day, I want to play in one of those games,'” said Harmon, who will be competing in his fourth Super Bowl on Sunday and has earned the moniker “The Closer” for his clutch play.

Fullback James Develin, 30, flashed back to the Patriots’ second-ever trip to the Super bowl, in 1997, when they lost to the Packers, 35-21.

“I remember buying a Super Bowl hat at my local grocery store with my parents,” Develin said.

Offensive tackle Trent Brown, 25, reminisced about the Patriots’ matchup against the Carolina Panthers in 2004, when Tom Brady captured his second title. He said he remembers Steve Smith doing a lot of talking, adding that Smith used to be one of his favorite players.

Twenty-seven-year-old linebacker Kyle Van Noy spoke about the game when Brady outlasted the St. Louis Rams, in 2002, which started an unprecedented run of success.

Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett, running back Rex Burkhead, and guard Joe Thuney, all in their late-20s, pointed to the the clash between the Tennessee Titans and Rams in 2000 as their earliest Super Bowl memory.

Perhaps there are some future NFL stars out there who will watch Sunday’s Super Bowl and remember this crop of players as the group that got them into the sport.
