Patriots sign offensive tackle Ryker Mathews
The 26-year-old has spent the last two seasons in the CFL.
In an attempt to bolster the offensive line, the Patriots have signed offensive tackle Ryker Mathews to a futures deal, according to Jim McBride of The Boston Globe.
The #Patriots have signed OT Ryker Mathews to a futures deal. The BYU product went undrafted in 2016 and spent part of that summer with the Saints before signing with the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The 26-year-old attended Brigham Young University before going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft. That summer, he was signed by the New Orleans Saints but never played a snap and was cut shortly after Week 1.
Since then, he has appeared in 26 games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.
