In the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ 27-13 win over the Jets on Sunday, Cordarrelle Patterson found himself underneath a pile of New York defenders. Patterson wanted to shed the pile, so he appeared to grab hold of Henry Anderson’s nether regions until the Jets defensive lineman lifted off him.

Anderson’s fiancée, Saryn Rorie, did not appreciate the tactic.

“Not cool,” Rorie wrote on Twitter. “That’s my boo.”

The referees did not call a penalty on the play, but Patterson could be in line for a fine from the league office. After the game, he explained the incident, telling Sports Illustrated he was trying to get Anderson off him.

“I’m a grown man,” Patterson said. “I don’t need no one’s ass and d*** and balls in my face.”

Rorie and Anderson, a fourth-year pass rusher out of Stanford, got engaged in July.
