What Bill O’Brien had to say about facing the Patriots this week
With less than one week remaining until the 2018 season opener, Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien spoke to the media Monday regarding his team’s fourth trip to Foxboro in three seasons.
“I think every year is different, I really do,” O’Brien said. “I think the two teams know each other very well, but I don’t get into that type of feeling about it. I think it’s just all about what we’re doing right now, where we are right now and how do we do as good of a job as we can to prepare for a team that was in the Super Bowl last year.” (HoustonTexans.com)

Federer struggles and falls victim to stifling conditions
Of Roger Federer’s 14 appearances in the U.S. Open, he had only lost before the quarterfinals once prior to Monday night’s match against Australian John Millman, ranked 55th. The 37-year-old looked slow and tired during the match that ended around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning in Arthur Ashe Stadium.
“I don’t know, for some reason, I just struggled in the conditions tonight. It’s one of the first times it’s happened to me,” Federer said. “It’s uncomfortable. Clearly just keep on sweating more and more and more and more as the match goes on. You lose energy as it goes by. But John was able to deal with it better.” (Boston.com)
