It's in tune with the focus of his offseason.

Patriots training camp is almost two weeks away, but Tom Brady is already putting in some preseason work.

The 40-year-old quarterback posted a story on his Instagram showing a video of him training with his son. Wearing a helmet, shoulder pads, and the customary red practice shirt, Brady faked out his offspring before showcasing some of his infamous speed to get around the edge.

Veterans report to Patriots training camp on July 25. Brady, who skipped voluntary organized team activities (OTAs), is expected to attend training camp. He was present at mandatory minicamp in June.

In the final episode of the behind-the-scenes documentary about his life, “Tom vs. Time,” Brady explained a new emphasis during his time away from Patriots season.

“This offseason is going to be about my family,” Brady said. “And they deserve it. There’s more to think about than just me, and I think that’s what you commit to when you have a family.”

Given his training habits, his recent family dodgeball game, and everything else that’s been notable about his offseason, it’s clear that Brady has remained committed to his familial post-Super Bowl goal.
