Report says Patriots are bringing back Matthew Slater
Patriots special teams captain Matthew Slater will return to the team in 2018, according to an ESPN report.
Slater, 32, is entering his 11th season in the NFL, all in New England. He had taken a free agent visit with the Steelers, but returned to the Patriots on a two-year deal, according to ESPN.
Slater has been named to the Pro Bowl seven straight seasons.
