Danny Amendola signs off on his Patriots career
Danny Amendola is a Dolphin.
After the former Patriots wide receiver officially signed with his new team Thursday, he tweeted his thanks to the New England organization and its fans.
“To Mr. Kraft, teammates, staff and all of Pats nation, thank you,” Amendola wrote.

The latest addition to Adam Gase’s offense added, “2X CHAMP,” a nod to the rings he earned by scoring a touchdown in both Super Bowl XLIX and Super Bowl LI. The teammates he’s leaving behind in Foxborough posted tributes to him once his move to Miami was reported. Tom Brady shared a gallery for his “friend” and “brother,” Rob Gronkowski told him to ‘stay lit,’ and Julian Edelman asked “Dolamite” to save a seat for him in South Beach.
Amendola’s already wearing a Dolphins’ jersey, if only for his avatar on Twitter.
