Here’s how Patriots players reacted to the roster changes on social media

NFL free agency is in full swing, and Patriots players are popping up all over the map.

The bulk of next year’s roster will still look the same as this year’s, but a handful of household names have already found a new home.

Nate Ebner is back, but Danny Amendola, Malcolm Butler, Dion Lewis, and Nate Solder are all gone, according to reports.

Several Patriots players took to social media to pay their respects to some of their current and former teammates:

Tom Brady said goodbye to Amendola, his “friend” and “brother.”

He also posted a gallery for Butler, Solder, and Lewis.

Julian Edelman asked “Dolamite” to save a seat for him down in South Beach.

Chris Hogan said his fellow wide receiver would be missed in Foxborough.

Joseph Thuney wished Solder the best as the left tackle reportedly heads to the Giants.

Duron Harmon posted a gallery congratulating Lewis and Solder and told them: “Keep ballin fellas!”

Harmon posted a second one for Butler and Amendola and said he’s happy he got to share the field with “two of the baddest cats in the league.”

Devin McCourty would like to cut free agency short this year.

McCourty also pulled out the money bags emoji for Butler, who’s expected to sign a five-year contract worth more than $61 million with the Titans.

Eric Rowe said Butler deserves every cent he’s about to make.

Lewis appears ready to reunite with the former Patriots cornerback in Tennessee.

Nate Ebner said he’s “all smiles” after reportedly agreeing to a two-year deal that will keep him in New England.
