Bündchen — who reportedly congratulated every Eagles player she ran into on her way to leave U.S. Bank Stadium — commended both teams for their performances Sunday before writing a short message of encouragement to her husband of nearly nine years.

“Congratulations Eagles for winning the Super bowl, what a game that was!” she wrote in her caption. “Congratulations Patriots for giving your best and to my love, we are incredibly proud of you because we are able to see ever day all the commitment, sacrifice and hard work that you have devoted to become the best in what you do. We love you!”

The last time the Patriots lost in the Super Bowl, Bündchen delivered her now infamous lines about New England’s receivers.

“You’ve to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball,” she told reporters after the Patriots’ 21-17 loss to the New York Giants. “My husband cannot fucking throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”
