Here’s a look at the scar on Tom Brady’s right hand

Brady said he hoped the injury wouldn't be a factor during the Super Bowl.

It look like Tom Brady’s right hand is healing, but the scar from the injury he suffered more than two week ago is still visible.

Unlike in the AFC Championship, Brady took the field Sunday with his throwing hand untaped. A faint scar could be seen below his thumb.

The injury reportedly required a dozen stitches, and Brady played in the AFC Championship game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with black tape on his hand. During a press conference after the game, a distinct scar could be seen on the hand.

The Patriots quarterback said last week that he was “working” on the hand and hoped the injury, which occurred during a practice, wouldn’t be a factor in Super Bowl LII.
