Tom Brady’s hand injury wasn’t that serious, according to Bill Belichick.
Despite his team’s win Sunday, the Patriots coach still had plenty of sarcasm to dish out when he was repeatedly asked about the injury during his postgame press conference. Belichick told reporters he wasn’t “aware of” any game-plan changes that were made because of Brady’s hand.

“I mean, look, Tom did a great job and he’s a tough guy,” Belichick said. “We all know that, alright? But, we’re not talking about open-heart surgery here.”
Brady’s injury reportedly required more than 10 stitches, according to an ESPN report. Playing with a black bandage on the hand, he finished Sunday’s game 26 of 38 for 290 yards and two touchdowns.
