Tom Brady laughed off a question about his jersey’s safety
"I wasn't worried about it last time, believe me."
Tom Brady wasn’t taking the bait about questions regarding the safety of his game-worn jersey on Sunday.
Following the Patriots’ win in Mexico City over the Raiders, Brady was asked if he was worried about a repeat of the Super Bowl (where his jersey was stolen from his locker, eventually being traced back to former Mexican media member, Mauricio Ortega).
Brady had a ready response.
“My jersey safe? I wasn’t worried about it last time, believe me,” said the Patriots quarterback.

Authorities recovered both Brady’s jerseys from his last two Super Bowl wins in a combined effort in March. One of the important tips in helping to track down Ortega notably came from a 19-year-old Patriots fan.
