The Celtics extended their winning streak to seven straight on Sunday night, defeating the Magic 104-88. Elsewhere, it was a busy NFL Sunday, with the Dolphins losing to the Raiders on Sunday night, 27-24.

Here’s a look at a few other stories:

Patriots open as huge favorites for trip to play Broncos: To kick off the second half of their season, the Patriots travel to Denver to face a familiar rival. This time, however, the Broncos are a team in crisis. Having lost to the Eagles on Sunday by a 51-24 scoreline, it’s left oddsmakers convinced of an impending New England rout.

Ex-Sox coach lands in New York with Mets: Gary DiSarcina, who served the Red Sox bench coach in 2017 under manager John Farrell, left the team after the season ended in the ALDS. Now, he’s found a new job for 2018.

Patriots will stay in Denver for a week after the Broncos game: For the first time since 2014, the Patriots are scheduled to stay for a week somewhere other than New England during the regular season. Given the upcoming schedule, which features a trip to Denver followed by a matchup in Mexico City against the Raiders, the Patriots will stay in Denver for an extra week after this Sunday’s game.
