Tom Brady’s impending Halloween costume was a postgame talking point
"We got to be fast. Tom said he has to pick up a Halloween costume."
While the postgame discussion following the Patriots’ 21-13 win over the Chargers mostly centered around the usual, football-related topics, there was one unique subplot: What exactly is Tom Brady planning for Halloween?
It began with Patriots safety Devin McCourty, who arrived at the podium for his press conference by announced that things were rushed because of Brady needing to “pick up a Halloween costume.”
Naturally, Brady was asked about it when he came to the podium afterward. His response was somewhat cryptic.
“I think my wife [picked] something out,” said Brady. “I don’t want to give it away. Find me in my neighborhood. [It’ll] be a nice costume, people won’t know who I am.”
In the past, Brady has indeed worn a mask to maintain a low profile.
