Brandin Cooks hitched a ride behind Rob Gronkowski for a creative Patriots touchdown
The Patriots took the first lead of the night against the Falcons on Sunday. It happened courtesy of a well-designed play from the New England offense.
After the Patriots blocked a Falcons field goal attempt, Tom Brady led the New England offense downfield on a 7-play, 74-yard drive. The series culminated with a touchdown from Brandin Cooks, who took the shovel pass from Brady and sprinted around the edge.
Cooks followed Rob Gronkowski so closely that he literally grasped the back of his jersey as he burst into the end zone for an 11-yard touchdown:
