Chad Johnson trolled himself about his time with the Patriots

Despite an impressive career in his time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Chad Johnson’s short tenure with the Patriots didn’t go very well. The six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver played a single season in New England, catching only 15 passes and one touchdown.

In 2017, Johnson is able to look back and laugh about his brief and largely unsuccessful stint as one of Tom Brady’s (infrequent) targets. As a regular Twitter user, Johnson frequently comments on questions from his many followers.

One particular response to a tweet referenced his unhappy season in New England:

In his career, Johnson (who changed his name on multiple occasions) caught 766 passes for 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns.
